Descripción
Sumario:Lipase is an enzyme which capable to be catalyst in the hydrolysis and the synthesis of esters formed from glycerol and long-chain fatty acids. oil palm pressed fiber (OPPF) is an agricultural waste know as mesocarp fiber which recovered from pressed palm oil and based on dry weight basis, approximately it contains of 40% cellulose, 24% pentosan , 21% lignin and 5% ash. The production of extracellular lipase from OPPF using Aspergillus niger by solid state fermentation (SSF) was studied. The main target in this study is to produce high yield oflipase activity from OPPF based on media composition which is inducer, carbon and nitrogen sources.
