Summary:This study was designed to focus some key environmental factors which were investigated for their effects on the yield and the rate of hydrogen production by clostridum sccharoperbutylacetonicum N1-4. The factors influencing the hydrogen by yield during fermentation include inoculum size, initial medium PH, inital glucose concentration, addition of iron and headspace volum of reactor.
