| Streszczenie: | This research is dedicated to design and develop an energy management system controller for BESS integrated with solar PV system for load leveling and peak shaving applications. The controller is also identified as the battery controller. This is because the controller main task is to monitor the consumer Alternating Current (AC) load demand profile and trigger the battery to either charge or discharge to produce a leveled or shaved load profile that will be seen at the grid network, while maintaining the actual load demand usage. Besides that, the controller also takes into consideration the BESS constrains to avoid any over-charge or under-discharge which will damage the BESS or reduce the BESS reliability and lifetime. |
