| Summary: | The Postgraduate Studies Office at Universiti of Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) will be hosting a postgraduate conference for the presentation and discussion of research in engineering, science and technology performed by MSc and PhD students. This is the first time Postgraduate Office of UTP organizes this event and it will be an annual forum for researchers in science, engineering and technological disciplines. The purpose of this conference is to capture the new ensuing issues within the major engineering disciplines; electrical and electronic, chemical, mechanical, geosciences and petroleum, and computer and information technology. Besides, this conference will also enable postgraduate students to gain experience in presenting their work in a formal conference development. The day therefore promises to be exciting and beneficial not only in developing good conference skills, but also to build the essential skills needed to progress from being a postgraduate student to successfully breaking into the career market.
