Description
Summary:Wind power was used hundreds of years ago to sail the yacht and rotate the windmill. Wind has been used as energy sources for electric power generation. Wind speed will move the windmill to generate electricity. Wind power depending on wind speeds. If one has an average wind speed of twice the speed of other places, the first windmills will produce eight times as much energy as it is generated by windmill similar elsewhere. Wind power has two main advantages compared with other energy sources. Such as modern windmills can be built in a short time and in most countries there is a lot of wind in winter when electricity is needed. Wind power has been used to generate electricity with the use of wind turbine, which is rotated by the shaft carrying an electrical generator. The use of wind turbine to generate electricity is cheaper. Developed countries have begun to develop a windmill to generate electricity because it can save costs to enable the windmills to function more effectively, to put windmills site should be selected based on the speed, strength and direction of wind.
